David grew up in rural Pennsylvania. The youngest of four, he spent long hours outdoors and on lakes, fishing, waterskiing, camping, building treehouses, getting dirty and generally making messes, as well as pursuing visual arts and music.

He moved to the north shore of Massachusetts to attend Gordon College, where he earned a B.A. in communications with a minor on the bass guitar. After college, it became clear that offices and computers were not to be the way, and he began taking side jobs in carpentry.

David gained experience working with master new england carpenters and cabinet makers, learning time-tested techniques. David proved himself to be a capable, smart and innovative carpenter which led him to work for one of the area’s premier builders where he spent the last 10 years as lead carpenter and site supervisor, specializing in high-end custom work before starting his own business in 2022.

Dave is also a musician, having played and recorded with several Boston-area bands. He trains in brazilian Jiu Jitsu and is an avid surfer. When not working you can probably find him doing one of these things, or spending time with his wife, daughter and bulldog.
